I have been using this for just over two weeks and the patch of dry skin on the back of my thigh seems to be going, also i have used this on my lips when coming in from that horrid snow weather and the dryness went within a few hours. The butter gives a lovely glow to the skin and helps my nails grow quick and i find any itching eczema soothed.
The scent is amazing! Nice and light. I layer it with the body cream to get the scent to last longer.
Shea Body Melting Butter is a luxurious and effective cream for dry skin. A little goes a long way and is a necessity during these winter months in the Northeast. While I still keep the 100% Shea for severely dry skin on my hands and feet, this 70% is my go to on a daily basis!
Love the Shea products - so when I spot a new one, I just have to try it. This one did not disappoint! I asked my husband use it on that area between my lower shoulder blades that I can't quite reach anymore (and that takes a direct beating from hot showers during those freezing winter months). He commented on the thickness compared to my usual ultra rich body creme and was concerned about smoothness of the application, until it touched my skin - and melted like butter. My skin stayed hydrated and comforted all day - not a single itchy twitch from under the bra band. This is a must for those inevitable patches of dry, uncomfortable skin!
Beautiful smell. Has the extra shea 'kick' my skin needs in the winter. I use it after showering and using the Shea Fabulous Oil. Great for post exfoliation.
I have horribly dry skin especially in the winter and this has saved my skin. The 70% shea is exactly what my skin needs. Normally during the summer I can get away with using 10% or 15% shea but in the New England winter- 15% is simply not enough. I love the whipped feeling of this product and I use it after I shower following the fabulous oil. Between the oil and this my skin has never felt more moisturized in winter.
I love this melting butter for this time of year when it is cold and my skin is so dry. All it takes is a little but it goes a long way to soften and smooth especially my dry arms and legs. It has that wonderful shea butter light scent. Smoothing and gentle on my skin.
A little goes a long way with this moisturizer. I used it on my extremely dry itchy legs and it penetrated so well that my legs remained moisturized a few days. I'm very happy with the intense moisture this products offers. It works best if it's thoroughly massaged into your skin.
This Shea butter really does melt into your skin and doesn’t make your hands greasy. I put this on my hands at night before bed and I wake up to soft hands in the morning! It’s a great product and it smells wonderful!
I've recently tried the shea body melting butter and I like the soothing effect on my skin. It is a little thick for me consistency-wise but works well especially in the dry winter season. Plus I've always liked the smell of shea butter.
